How does CHASING high shear mixer (emulsifier mixer) work?

Anchor mixers are equipped with Teflon scrapers to remove material from the inside of the vessel while pushing the mixture back to the center where the high shear mixing/homogenization/emulsification process takes place, which is useful for producing fine emulsions/micron-scale dispersion body.
